Hi, I’m Andrea, the proud owner of Brave Dog Bookkeeping. As a lifelong animal lover, I named my business in honor of my dog, Bella, who sadly passed away in June 2023 at almost 14 years old. Bella was a Yorkie-Havanese mix with an indomitable spirit. Despite facing numerous medical challenges and frequent vet visits, she remained resilient. I often called her my brave girl or brave dog.

When I was starting my business, I struggled to find the perfect name. Months went by, and then it hit me—Brave Dog Bookkeeping. Some thought it was an unusual choice, but the name means so much to me. It symbolizes the courage it took to start this new chapter, honors Bella, the original brave dog, and reflects my love for dogs and the heart of my business.
